The North Vancouver Community Arts Council has put together an exhibition for artists in all mediums for a themed exhibition called "Winter Sports" in celebration of the 2010 Winter Olympics. This show will feature art depicting Winter Sports in all present forms and throughout Canadian history and how it has contributed to shaping us as a country.This exhibition will feature artists’ expression of their sentiment and passion for their favourite Canadian Winter Sport and will take place at the CityScape Community Art Space. There will be a second exhibition, with a Winter of 2010 theme, in the foyer at North Vancouver District Hall as part of their Art in Public Spaces exhibition series.
I will have a selection of my work at both exhibitions which express my passion for ice hockey and celebrate achievements in both women’s and men’s hockey at recent Olympic Winter Games. I invite you to come to the exhibitions and to join me at the opening receptions in January 2010.
